Sand pumping operations resumed at Sea Colony – “The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community” – today, following a five-day hiatus forced by the passing of Tropical Storm Noel. Sea Colony’s beach building work started on October 26 at the north end of the seaside resort community and was making rapid progress until the storm suspended operations late last week. Work resumed just north of Ocean Pool 2, located between Chesapeake and Dover buildings.
Crews will continue working south to complete the project, which was initially expected to take two weeks – or less.
