Six Sea Colony lifeguards earned top honors at the service’s awards dinner held last month.
For the beach patrol: Alex Bruce won “Lifeguard of the Year;” Brad Bivins earned “Rookie of the Year;” and Jordan O’Boyle took home the “Unsung Hero.”
For the community’s pool division: Mark Longworth won “Lifeguard of the Year;” Lucie Dolezilova earned “Rookie of the Year;” and John Zirkel took home the “Unsung Hero.”
Sea Colony’s lifeguards protect swimmers on the community’s beach and in its 12 pools.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association is managed by ResortQuest Delaware.
